After shift change last night we found out that Kinley would be moving soon. Partly because she is doing well with her recovery (although she is still considered "critical"), but mainly because another baby in the NICU needs the operating room. The plan was to move Kinley sometime before the morning shift change. So before we left for the night Melissa, last night's charge nurse, gave us a tour of the open bedstations and we picked out Kinley's new room.
Here is a pic of Kinley before the move to her new room.

Happy New Home, Kinley! Enjoy your "room with a view." :) Keep up the good work on your recovery.

How nice to have a window to let the sunshine in! Enjoy! To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides (David Viscott).
Hugs to all!
What beautiful pictures! Keep up the good work Kinley! You too, Mom and Dad!
Sweet!!! I love the new room. When can we re-paint it?! Kinley I am so proud of you! Way to go! Stay strong and keep putting out great numbers!
Yay-Kinley! You have a great new room with a view. It's so nice to have sunshine and get out of that ECMO cave/OR! I know you still have far to go, but look how much you have overcome so far. What a tough little girl you are! The rest will be a piece of cake compared to all that!

Good pick on the bedspace! It looks comfy for you guys with the nice chairs. The window is great for everyone. You can tell Kinley what's going on outside and if it rains she'll probably love the noise on the window. She looks so great and I'm thrilled for you guys. She sure is a tough cookie (and super cute too!)
